The Difference

THE MESSAGE

The messages are not watered-down, vague, or seeker friendly. The true gospel of Jesus Christ, which deals with sin and calls people to change and obey Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, is preached. We are not ashamed of Jesus or anything He taught including hell or Jesus being the only way to heaven.

PRAISE & WORSHIP

We have contemporary praise and worship that endeavors to move us toward intimacy with God. Worship leaders and team members must have their lives right with God, exhibit maturity in the Lord and also understand that true worship is not just singing songs. A gift to sing or play an instrument does not mean that a person is ready to lead worship or even be on a worship team.

THE GIFTS

We are not ashamed of and do not quench any of the gifts of the Holy Spirit manifesting in our midst. We earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts and provide an atmosphere where they are welcomed, but discerned, judged, and corrected if needed.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Prayer, intercession, fasting, intense spiritual warfare and deliverance are taught and practiced in order to break through the spiritual forces of darkness that hold people in bondage. We endeavor to be a people who know how to pray and set the captives free through the power and authority of Jesus Christ.

REVIVAL

We study revival history and endeavor to see God move through our region in a mighty way like He did in the book of Acts and other historic revivals. We are not satisfied to just do church as usual.

EVANGELISM

Fire & Grace Church is committed to true evangelism in the church and out on the street. We will equip and train each member that is willing and then go into the entire world and preach the true gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we can. Winning souls to Jesus Christ is second only to our priority of growing in our personal relationship with God.

MINISTERING & EQUIPPING

As the Holy Spirit leads, we will have special services to enhance our members and reach out to the community. IE - healing services, prophetic meetings, and seminars focusing on various subjects.

CHURCH GOVERNMENT

Our church government is the Biblical pattern of the Five-fold ministry leader that God appointed. Elders and other ministers are ordained by the senior minister, as they are proven faithful. Decisions and direction will be discussed and prayed about with staff and elders. However, much like a marriage, the final decision will fall on the senior five-fold minister. There will be no voting or board which helps eliminate “church politics”.
